The second day of our camping trip had much better weather. It was a little muggy and hot, but at least we didn't have any rain. We were excited to try out our hiking backpack my parents had gotten us when they first found out I was pregnant with Grady.
It must have been a pretty comfy ride for Grady. He promptly fell asleep. I guess he wasn't into looking at the scenery.
I think Grady might still be a little too small for the backpack. He doesn't have the best trunk control and we can't tighten the straps enough to keep him sitting back. He just falls forward and smashes his face.
This pack will be great once Grady is big enough for it. Taylor really likes how comfortably it fits. Halfway through the hike, Grady woke up and I decided he'd be happier in the BabyBjorn so he could look around. I wasn't the only one sporting the Bjorn. Lisa carried Cort in one for the hike.
Look how nicely Grady sits. Then look at Cort - leaning sideways with a smart aleck expression. Yup, trouble. ;-)
