Our one year anniversary of living in our house was July 31st. After one year, the builders come through and patch up any drywall cracks that have appeared. We still have to call to schedule an appointment, but since the fixes are coming, we are excited to start painting. They recommend waiting a year to allow the house to settle. There are no cracks in the kitchen so we started painting over the weekend.

First we taped
It took forever.
Then we (Taylor) primed
And painted.
We had a few glitches. The tape wasn't working so well. We ended up with some paint on the windows and door trim. After a few adjustments with brush size we fixed the problem. I got to go through with a little paintbrush and fix the mistakes.
Grady snuck behind the fridge and did some painting of his own.
Last night, Taylor finished up the last wall of the kitchen.
